Custom Sunglasses Manufacturer for Your Eyewear Project

Eyewear product development can start with a finished drawing, a reference sample or an early concept. We review the structure, materials and manufacturing risks first, then build and refine the sample until the open points are resolved.

STARTING POINTS

Start With the Right Route for Your Eyewear Project

The input required depends on how far the project has progressed. For a custom eyewear manufacturer, a proven frame may only need selected changes, a finished drawing calls for manufacturability review, and an early concept needs more development work.

01

PRIVATE LABEL

Proven Frame
Style

A proven frame gives you the fastest starting point. Change the color, lenses, branding or packaging without reopening the basic construction.

02

OEM

Complete Design or Approved Sample

If the design is already defined, send the drawings, CAD files, specifications or approved sample. We check whether the construction can be made as intended and identify anything that must be clarified before sampling.

03

ODM

Concept or Design
Direction

If the product is not fully defined, start with the sketch or reference. Structure, material choice and key dimensions are worked out during development.

PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT

How a Custom Sunglasses Manufacturer Moves Your Project to an Approved Sample

The sample is not just a visual check. It is where structure, fit, materials and manufacturability are confirmed before the production specification is locked.

01

Project Brief

We confirm the target market, frame type, design intent and requirements that cannot change.

02

Feasibility Review

Engineering reviews the structure, materials, components and likely production constraints before development moves further.

03

Engineering & Materials

Dimensions and construction are defined once the main risks are understood. Material and finishing choices are confirmed against the intended design.

04

Prototype Build

A dedicated sample and prototype team builds the first physical frame without relying entirely on bulk-production availability.

05

Sample Review & Refinement

The sample is reviewed for fit, proportion and appearance. Revisions focus on differences from the intended design or issues that may affect later production.

06

Production Approval

Production is released only after the physical sample and related specifications have been reviewed and approved.

Dedicated sampling department reduce competition with bulk orders. Depending on project complexity and current capacity, prototype and production turnaround can be around 30–50% faster than the industry average.

CUSTOMIZATION SCOPE

What a Custom Eyewear Manufacturer Can Develop Beyond Branding

Fully custom eyewear can change the frame architecture and construction, not just the color, logo or packaging.

Frame Architecture

Shape, dimensions, bridge design, temple profile and overall proportions.

Materials & Construction

Acetate, metal, titanium and mixed-material structures selected around design and production requirements.

Color & Finish

Color matching, plating, coatings and surface finishing.

Lens Options

Solid, gradient, polarized and functional lens options matched to frame and market requirements.

Branding & Details

For brands looking for a custom logo sunglasses manufacturer, we can integrate logos into temple details, lenses, hardware and selected decorative elements.

Packaging

Cases, cloths, boxes, labels and presentation options aligned with your brand.

ENGINEERING REVIEW

Resolve Key Engineering Risks Before Production

Visible details are only part of the review. A custom eyewear manufacturer must also check structure, material-process fit and component relationships that affect fit, assembly and repeatability.

Structure & Fit

Review dimensions, alignment, hinge position, frame balance and lens fit.

Material & Process Matching

Match selected materials with suitable construction and finishing processes.

Component Compatibility

Check critical interfaces, hardware relationships and assembly constraints before specifications are finalized.

Repeatability Review

Identify design details that may affect consistency when the approved sample moves into production.

When the Production Route Needs to Change

Some acetate designs introduce compound curves, changing surface heights or sculpted details that conventional forming and simpler machining routes cannot reproduce cleanly. The wave profile and inflated rim shown here are examples: their surfaces change continuously across the frame, so the geometry itself becomes the manufacturing challenge.

For this type of construction, 5-axis machining gives us direct control over tool angle and cutting position as the surface changes. Complex curves can be machined more accurately, while design revisions can be handled through the machining program without rebuilding a forming tool.

PROJECT ESSENTIALS

What Buyers Need to Know Before We Start

You do not need a complete technical package to get started. A drawing, reference sample or clear product direction is enough. The more context we have on quantity, materials, market and timing, the more accurately we can evaluate your project.

01

Design Input

Share drawings, CAD files, reference samples, sketches or visual references—whatever you currently have.

02

Target Quantity

Let us know your expected order quantity so we can evaluate the appropriate development and production route.

03

Material Direction

Acetate, metal, titanium, mixed materials or an open brief—we can review suitable options based on the intended design.

04

Target Market & Compliance

Tell us where the eyewear will be sold and any relevant testing, labeling or compliance requirements.

05

Project Timing

Share your sampling, launch or delivery targets so development priorities and production planning can be aligned early.

06

Confidentiality & NDA

Project drawings, samples, branding and commercial information are handled confidentially. An NDA can be arranged before sensitive materials are shared.
