WHY SEESUN
The choice of eyewear manufacturer matters when approved details have to carry through engineering, sampling and production without losing proportion, fit or key design features. SEESUN focuses on the points where projects most often become difficult: complex structures, repeated revisions and high-mix production planning.
01
A design can lose proportion, fit or critical details when it is translated into a manufacturable frame.
Structure, fit and component relationships are reviewed before tooling or sampling decisions are locked. If a proportion or connection creates risk, it can still be corrected while the change is manageable.
02
Complex geometry and mixed materials can create risks that a standard production route does not solve.
Geometry, material behavior and critical interfaces are reviewed before the production route is set. Depending on the construction, that may mean changing how the frame is machined, formed or how different materials are integrated.
03
Prototype work can slow down when it competes with bulk orders for the same production resources.
7–15 DAYS*
PRIORITY SAMPLING
Our dedicated sample and prototype team works separately from bulk-production scheduling, allowing samples to be developed without waiting for a production-line slot. Straightforward designs requiring no new tooling may be completed in 7–15 days, subject to material availability and current workload.
04
High-mix, lower-volume orders are harder to plan than long runs of a single style.
45-60 DAYS*
PRIORITY PRODUCTION
Flexible production scheduling allows us to manage different styles and smaller batches around the actual order mix, reducing unnecessary waiting between production runs. For eligible standard-frame orders, lead times can be around 30% shorter than our usual production schedule when materials and capacity are available.
*Priority lead times apply only to eligible projects and depend on material readiness, tooling requirements and available capacity. Standard sampling typically takes 25–30 days, while standard mass production takes 75–90 days. New tooling time is additional.
CORE SERVICES
Eyewear projects reach us at different stages. Some brands start with a proven frame, others bring defined specifications or still need product development. We match the work to the project stage and carry approved products into production.
01
Build a branded collection from proven frame platforms, with selected changes to colors, lenses, logos and packaging. Sampling confirms the approved details before production.
02
Use OEM when most product specifications are already defined, or ODM when part of the design and engineering is still open. The route depends on what has been approved and what still needs development.
03
Once the sample and production requirements are approved, the project moves into controlled manufacturing. Production planning, in-process checks and final inspection are managed against the confirmed reference.

In-Process Inspection & Handling
OUR FACTORY
Our eyeglasses factory in China produces sunglasses and optical frames for OEM and ODM projects. Core processing, finishing, assembly and inspection are managed in-house, with specialized machining and material-integration routes available for constructions that cannot be handled reliably through conventional methods.

Precision CNC machining defines frame outlines, grooves and key dimensions. Critical dimensions are checked before parts move into later finishing.

Tumbling removes machining marks and softens rough edges on acetate components before hand finishing.

Our suction-fixture machining workshop uses integrated cutting and engraving equipment for complex acetate lamination. This process reduces material waste while improving positioning accuracy during machining.

Hand polishing is used on visible surfaces, edges and corners where the final feel of the frame depends on manual control.

Cold lamination is one of the material-assembly routes used in our eyeglasses factory for selected acetate constructions before later shaping and finishing.

Assembly checks focus on alignment, hinge movement and overall frame balance.
PRODUCT CATEGORIES
SEESUN works across acetate, metal, titanium and specialty materials, supporting sunglasses and optical-frame collections with different structures, finishes and market requirements. This breadth reflects the work of an eyewear manufacturer that handles more than a single material or product category.
Advanced laminated acetate eyewear manufacturing, complex multi-color lamination and precision acetate processing for custom eyewear designs.
Custom metal eyewear with tailored structures, finishes, plating and details for diverse brand collections.
Lightweight titanium eyewear with custom structures, finishes and detailing for premium collections.
Distinctive buffalo horn eyewear crafted with natural textures and refined finishing for premium collections.
Lightweight carbon fiber eyewear combining distinctive textures with custom structures and refined detailing.
Custom eyewear combining acetate, metal and specialty materials for distinctive structures and designs.
Custom glasses frames need lens fit, bridge geometry and wearing balance to work together before the structure is approved for production.
Sports eyewear place more emphasis on secure fit, lens coverage and temple geometry, with frame proportions reviewed around movement and intended use.
Smart glasses add new demands around temple volume, component placement and frame balance while still needing to function as wearable eyewear.
GLOBAL COMPLIANCE
We support global eyewear brands with material testing, regulatory compliance and quality documentation for major markets.

International eyewear programs bring different materials, order structures and brand requirements; SEESUN approaches them with the production experience of a sunglasses manufacturer in China. Some work comes through established supply-chain partners on a subcontract basis, while other projects begin in development or continue from an approved sample into repeat production.

MOQ depends on the frame material, design and customization requirements. We support flexible order quantities for different OEM, ODM and private label projects. Send us your design or project requirements for a specific MOQ evaluation.
Yes. We provide OEM, ODM and private label manufacturing for sunglasses and optical frames, covering product development, sampling, branding, mass production, quality control and packaging.
Yes. Our product development team can work from sketches, technical drawings, reference images, 3D files or physical samples. We can support the project from design review and engineering through sampling and mass production.
We manufacture acetate, metal, titanium and mixed-material sunglasses and optical frames. Material selection can be matched to your design, target price, positioning and performance requirements.
Custom sampling generally takes around 25–30 days, depending on frame construction, materials and finishing requirements. For straightforward designs requiring no new tooling, priority sampling may be completed in 7–15 days when capacity allows. New tooling and more complex developments require separate time estimates.
A typical mass-production reference is 75–90 days after sample approval and order confirmation. For straightforward styles, a 45–60-day priority schedule may be possible if materials are already in stock or can be prepared within approximately 15 days, and production capacity is available. Final timing is confirmed against the actual order and material plan.
Yes. We support custom frame logos, lens logos, colors and private label packaging, including cases, pouches, cleaning cloths, hang tags and other branded accessories.
Yes. For custom eyewear projects, we normally develop and confirm samples before mass production so that design, fit, colors, materials, branding and key construction details can be reviewed before the bulk order proceeds.
We respect our clients’ intellectual property and follow established confidentiality procedures to protect project drawings, designs, samples, tooling and business information. For projects involving sensitive information, we can also sign an NDA before any confidential materials are shared.
Quality control starts with IQC for incoming materials and components. During production, QC staff inspect semi-finished frames at each production stage, while production and engineering managers carry out routine floor inspections to identify process deviations early. After assembly, every finished frame receives 100% QC inspection, followed by a final pre-shipment inspection covering appearance, alignment, function and overall workmanship.
Share your design, reference sample or project requirements with our team. We’ll help you identify the right next step for development, sampling or production.
